Michael M. Todd, MD

Dr. Michael Todd was born in San Francisco, California. He grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, and graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Chemistry and a minor in Japanese. He also attended medical school at the University of Utah. Dr. Todd did his internship in Internal Medicine as well as his residency in Dermatology at the Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA. Following residency, he elected to pursue subspecialty training in skin cancer and Mohs micrographic surgery, and completed a fellowship at the Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA.

Dr. Todd is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Other society memberships include the American Academy of Dermatology and the American college of Mohs Surgery.

Dr. Todd and his wife have six children. When he is not busy performing Mohs surgery, he enjoys running, photography, tennis, and sports with his children. One of his favorite activities is skiing in the mountains of Utah.

Corey DeWitt, MD

Dr. Corey DeWitt grew up in Ellsworth, Maine and graduated from Dartmouth College with a degree in Biology. He attended medical school at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Dr. DeWitt completed his internship in Internal Medicine and residency in Dermatology at the University of Vermont Medical Center. After residency, he pursued subspecialty training by completing a fellowship in Mohs micrographic surgery at the University of Vermont under the instruction of Dr. Glenn Goldman.

Dr. DeWitt is board-certified in Dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology. Other society memberships include the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgery and American Society of Dermatological Surgery.

When he’s not at work, Dr. DeWitt enjoys running, spending time with family, and traveling to coastal Maine.

Michael Fraykor, PA-C

Michael Fraykor was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. He grew up in Buckingham County, Virginia and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelors of Science degree in biology.

While living in Richmond, he worked at the Medical College of Virginia doing medical research in the field of cardiac surgery. Following his studies in Richmond, he moved to New York to continue his medical education.

Mr. Fraykor graduated with honors from the Physician Assistant Program at Touro College in Bay Shore, New York. After graduation, he chose to pursue a career in dermatology with an emphasis in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer and now has more than 10 years of experience working with Dr.Todd.

When he is not in the office, Mr. Fraykor prefers being with his family and being outdoors. Fishing on the Cheasapeake Bay is a pastime that is a particular favorite. He and his wife, a local dentist, live in Northern Virginia.

Lindsay Smith, FNP-BC

Lindsay Smith was born in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois though she predominantly grew up in the Hampton Roads area. After high school, she attended the University of Virginia and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. From there, she began her nursing career working in the Stepdown and ICU environments.

She later chose to further her education and earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University. As a nurse practitioner, Lindsay has focused her career on dermatology with a special interest in pigmented lesions, including atypical moles and melanoma.

She is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a member of both the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners.

In her spare time, Lindsay considers herself an avid sports fan and can often be found cheering on UVA and the Chicago Bears. She also enjoys hanging out with her husband, their two sons and two dogs in Northern Virginia.

Kaitlyn Burns, PA

Kaitlyn Burns is a Certified Dermatology Physician Assistant with experience treating  a wide range of adult and pediatric dermatologic conditions. She has extensive experience treating acne and skin cancers and prioritizes patient centered, compassionate care. 

Kaitlyn grew up in northern Virginia and still has strong connections to the local community. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences from Virginia Tech and earned a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Monmouth University.

She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and is a Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. 

In her spare time, Kaitlyn loves running and hiking local trails. She also enjoys hanging out with her husband and their three daughters in Northern Virginia.
